Musk Lime

On the land about 3 eacres we plan to plant musk lime tree. This project is still at the early phase which we are clearing the land using grass poison. we used ecomexx that cost RM 50 per bottle. At the moment 200 holes has been dug to place 200 small musk lime tree. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks for the tree to be harvested. But the actual age to get a constant production is 4 months and the optimum age for maximum fruiting is after 1 year.

This project will be proceed slowly. we need to clear the land totally as soon as possible. Target market of our musk lime are the restaurants and factory that produce lime juice.

Harvesting season of Corn

Now is the harvesting period of my corn. Approximately 10000 corns will be plucked at our first location and we will sell them to our loyal customers that always asked when will the corns will be ready. As usual our supply still cannot fulfill the demand of our customer. Next step is to increase our production and for our long term target, we want to build a factory that produces the corn based product like cordial and cup corn.

Nur Hafiz picked up the plucked corns.

Oyster Grey Mushroom Cultivation

 Hi everybody,

I would like to tell the whole process of mushroom cultivation. I gained the knowledge during the one day course i had with Mr. Syed Osman (Cendawan Sungai Udang) and with my own experience.

I set up my project according to a small scale cultivation plan. The aim of this initial project is to familiarize with the process and to know the problem that may be occur during the mushroom cultivation.

First we need to prepare the medium. The medium is the mixture of saw dust, wheat bran, and hydrated lime and water. The ratio is 100:10:1 with 50-70% of humidity. Then the medium will be bagged into a PP plastik bag followed by closing it with cap set.

Next the medium bags will be steamed in the steamer under temperature of 90-100 degree for 4- 8 hours. The purpose is to eliminate all the unnecessary bacteria in the bags.

The inoculation process will be take place after the bags have been left cold overnight. The bags with seed inside will be arranged at the rack. After 2 months until the mycilleum had been fulled in the bag, then the cap will be open. After 4 days then the mushroom can be harvested. The cap will be put again and the bag will be rested for 7-10 days. One bag can be harvested 7 or 8 times.
